GHC Members

If you are a GHC member and you have a health concern, consider calling the Consulting Nurse Service at 800.297.6877, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You might discover that you can treat your condition at home, saving you both time and money. You will need your plan ID number from your health care ID card, when you call.

You can expect the registered nurse to listen to your concern, give you general advice, and if necessary, direct you to the best location to receive immediate care. Sometimes you will be sent to a Group Health urgent care center, or perhaps to a GHC emergency room. Other times you may be sent to an emergency room at a local hospital.
