September 15-17 was the biggest weekend Stadium High School's ever seen in it's 100 years. The three-day celebration unveiled the new and improved Stadium High School to the Tacoma community, and featured the homecoming football game, and a Blood Sweat and Tears concert Saturday night. On Saturday, September 16th, Stadium High School hosted a class reunion, in which a Guiness World Record may have been broken (the official numbers have not come back yet). Throughout the weekend, 30,000 people came back to the castle to view its fantastic change, and to visit old classmates.
Friday the 15th, the Stadium bowl held the biggest Homecoming game Stadium has seen in a while. The Tigers took on their rival, the Wilson Rams. There was an estimated 10,000 people there to cheer them on. Although the Tigers did not come out with a win, they kept their spirits high, and their heads up. The varsity players would like to thank everyone who came to support and cheer them on.

On Saturday, September 16th, Stadium alum filled the halls throughout the day. Some were even yelling nicknames throughout the halls as if they were still in school. That night, a concert featuring Blood Sweat and Tears, and (Stadium grad) Vicci Martinez took place. The show ended with a wonderful firework display that lit up the sky over Commencement Bay.
On Sunday, the weekend came to a close. There was a strong showing for the pancake feed in the morning, and the Open House gave the community a chance to view the remodeled school inside and out.
The Stadium boosters would like to thank everyone who came out and helped throughout the fantastic three-day celebration.
