On February fifth, Stadium High School’s F.B.L.A went to the Peninsula Regional Competition in Bremerton to compete against hundreds of other F.B.L.A participants. Nine students attended while six placed top 5 in the Region. Kenny Hamlet, Isaiah Larson, Adrienne Mendoza placed first in Banking and Financial Systems. Denzel Martin placed first in Client Service. Louie Tran placed third in Business Math. Lauren Vetsch placed fourth in Help Desk.
This is a huge accomplishment after the F.B.L.A. club at Stadium had a decrease in members and a change of leadership. Louie Tran(pictured above) helped reorganized and really spearheaded the F.B.L.A. program at Stadium after these changes and is now the president of the club. Previously headed by Mr. Jones until late last year the F.B.L.A. club is now advised by Mr. Niendorf (pictured to the right) whom had run the program for nine years at stadium.
The F.B.L.A. will be holding a fundraiser called Kings of the Castle which is a Basket ball tournament. After this our F.B.L.A. Team will be headed to State in Bremerton during April. The F.B.L.A. team is always looking for new members so if you would like to join the team meets in Mr. Niendorfs room (B-26) at 2:15 after school.
