BACK-TO-SCHOOL LIBRARY STYLE
Live online HOMEWORK HELP is now available!
Between 3 pm and 10 pm, every day, students in Grades 3 - 12 can login to HelpNow at the library's website (www.tacomapubliclibrary.org) and access free on-demand homework help and skills building tools with real online tutors. The new service, provided through Brainfuse, also provides a 24-hour writing lab where students can submit papers for constructive feedback.
Students and families should also check out our TESTING & EDUCATION REFERENCE CENTER. This database helps students prepare for higher education and the working world by teaming with Peterson's College Guides to deliver detailed information on private high schools, undergraduate and graduate programs and executive education programs. The database also features interactive online practice tests for preparatory examinations including entrance exams and certification and licensing tests.
