Attention Students!

This year you will be completing a research project on your home state. As you work, please move through the tasks on this website. Be sure you have completed all componants to all tasks. Your grade is based on the thoroughness and accuracy of information in your report. You will create a PowerPoint presentation showing all the topics required for this research project. You will be given ample time to do your research and put this together at school, if you use your time wisely. If you wish, you may do further internet research outside of school, saving it to a disk or thumb drive, and bring it in to add to your presentation. All projects will be presented at school, with invitations going out to family, our school principal, and any other school personnel that wish to come. Please see the assessment rubric so you are aware of what you need to do for the best grade possible. Please ask for help whenever you need to. If you wait until the last minute, it may be difficult to get help in time to complete your project.
